Most of the Reaches Weyr folk know Jolak as Joe, another weyrbrat. He's been at the Weyr for five turns already, having been brought to the Weyr because of family, a few of which ride for High Reaches - A'son a prime example.

Jolak generally speaks his mind after due consideration of his thoughts, trying not to pick too many tongue battles. He is at times prone to fool around when he isn't in a level-headed mood. He is also known for keeping firm to his opinions and is less likely to bend to peer pressure than other teens. When there's a serious topic on the air, he's reserved, choosing the right time to respond and the right words to use.

He works within the stores under the assistant headwomen as a records keeper. Basically his job entails helping with the count, hauling, sorting, stocking... and general inventory duties. Often, he can be seen carrying off forgotten gadgets and gizmos, known for his tinkering and his inventive imagination.

Folks can recognize him by his shaggy dirty blonde hair and his gap-toothed smile, ears that stick out too much and sharp blue eyes.

Rumor has it that he's got a thing for an apprentice harper as of late.
